Carlos Roos has been a member of CIMS since August 2010. He holds a B.A. in Art from Universidad Cental de Venezuela, and a Master's in Philosophy of Art from Universiteit Leiden, The Netherlands. Currently, he pursues a PhD in Communication Sciences at Universiteit Gent. His ongoing research deals with structural standardisation in pop music departing from a critique of Theodor W. Adorno's Critical Theory.
